holidays have been a week..
what have i done so far?

i went for two bowling try-out sessions..
lost to 2 different guys who i went with, Damien and Ickes!
i need a lighter ball.. i need an 8!

i also read a book in a day.. 500 pages, no joke..
i watched a movie with Melissa, Joo Yong, Shing Lung and
believe it or not, my long lost primary schoolmate Shaun!

we watched State of Play..

wow! time really really flies~
i am now on my 4-week semester break..
so the next time i step into my university, i'll be in semester 2!
according to our seniors, we'll have a hell of a time!!!
i got to be really prepared.. FIGHTING~~~

anyway, i realized that my recent post are about outings and food..
so many pictures of food that reminds me of Chun..
go and have a look at his blog and you'll know why.. hehe..
but i did not do it on purpose, i swear!

i shall change it a little this time around..
just a sneak peak of some of the things i learned in Semester 1..
excited to know? i have tried avoiding posting some pictures..
just in case my friends who don't take biology can't take it.. haha..

for Foundation part I, about 2 hours of morning lectures daily..
we basically touched the surface of all the systems in our body..
each system takes around a week to cover..

the very basic cell structures and their functions

enzymes (blue) and substrates (yellow)

skin structures: thick and thin skin seen here..

muscles of the body: muscle fiber is shown..

joints of the body..

haemopoiesis which means formation of blood cells..

lymphatic system: only the head and neck region is seen here..

the thorax region..

our heart and cardiac cycle..

respiration: its structures and mechanism..

urinary system.. i think this kidney is pretty.. hehe..

the digestive system.. i like large intestine the best..

ovulation.. this is awesome! only happens once a month in females!

fertilization.. we saw videos of this.. super funny!

cell division: late telophase under the microscope..

DNA karyotype..

craniofacial embryology: this is us when we are 7-week old..

craniofacial osteology.. this is nice! =)

trigeminal nerve..

blood supply of the head and neck region..

muscles of facial expression and mastication..

triangles of the neck..

identify teeth: incisors, canines, premolars and molars..

every line on this mandibular second molar has a name!

tooth emergence for deciduos and permanent dentition..

and finally salivary glands and saliva..

it was Father's Day yesterday.. did you spend time with daddy?
the same group of us went out together again..
and yet again --- Japanese cuisine!!!
but this time round it was at Umai-Ya in Damansara Utama..

we started our lunch at 11.30am up till 2.30pm..
it was a buffet lunch yet again.. order as much as you like..
but got to finish all of it la.. hehe..
you won't believe the amount of food i have consumed in 3 hours..
i have like sushi-phobia for now.. it's SCARY!

daddy and i.. his genes are definitely passed down to me! =P

why do you need mirrors on 4 walls when you pee???
